How vfun-scan works
vfun-scan is a real-time crypto toolkit that compares prices, funding rates, spreads, Earn yields and loan rates across 30+ exchanges. You can watch every table without an account; a free account adds charts, filters and table sorting. Below is what each tool does and how to read it.
Price arbitrage scanner
The price arbitrage scanner compares the live order-book price of every tracked coin across 30+ centralised and decentralised exchanges and ranks the pairs with the widest cross-exchange gap. The percentage shown is the price difference between the cheapest exchange to buy and the most expensive to sell — before you trade, factor in taker fees, withdrawal and transfer costs, which decide whether a gap is actually worth it.
- Buy / sell columns — the cheapest exchange to buy and the most expensive to sell for each coin.
- Spread % — sort by it to put the widest cross-exchange gaps on top.
- Depth — order-book depth at the quoted price shows how much size a gap can absorb.
- History — open a row chart to see how a gap behaved over recent hours and days.
Funding-rate arbitrage
Perpetual futures pay a periodic funding amount between longs and shorts, and the rate differs by exchange. This view ranks coins by the spread between the highest and lowest funding rate across 30+ exchanges, annualised to an APR. A delta-neutral trader goes long the perp where funding is most negative (you get paid) and short where it is most positive, collecting the difference.
- APR view — funding is normalised to an annual rate so 1h, 4h and 8h schedules compare.
- Pay / receive — which side pays on each exchange, so you know where to be long vs short.
- History — chart a coin funding spread to judge whether the carry is stable or a spike.
Spot-perp basis (cash & carry)
The basis is the gap between a coin spot price and its perpetual price. When the perp trades above spot you can buy spot and short the perp — a cash-and-carry trade that captures the basis (and any positive funding) while staying market-neutral. This view tracks the spot-vs-perp gap across 30+ exchanges and flags where it is widest.
- Spot vs perp — the two legs with the live basis between them.
- Cash & carry — a positive basis means buy spot and short the perp.
- Funding-aware — a positive basis plus positive funding is a stronger carry.
Live funding rates & spreads
A real-time monitor of perpetual funding rates and price spreads across the major exchanges. Sort by funding APR to find the richest carry, or by spread to spot dislocations between venues.
- Live funding — the current rate per exchange, annualised to an APR.
- Spreads — the cross-exchange price gap for each coin.
- History — chart how a coin funding and spread evolved.
Pair spread monitor
Pick one trading pair and watch its price on every exchange that lists it, side by side. IN and OUT are the entry and exit points of a position at the current moment — where you would open the trade and where you would close it across venues — so you can see exactly where the price difference between exchanges is largest for the coin you care about.
- One pair, every venue — every exchange that lists the pair, live.
- IN / OUT — the entry and exit points of a position at the current moment.
- Spread — the live difference between the IN (entry) and OUT (exit) points.
Earn APY comparison
Earn, staking, flexible-savings and launchpool rates from 14 exchanges in one sortable table. Filter by product type and exchange to find the best advertised APY for a coin. Always confirm the current terms on the exchange — advertised rates can change, and promotional or tiered rates may apply only to limited amounts.
- 14 exchanges — Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Gate, HTX, KuCoin, BingX, MEXC and more.
- Product types — flexible savings, locked staking, launchpools, dual and structured.
- Search and filter — narrow to a coin or an exchange.
Loan / borrow APR comparison
Crypto-loan borrow rates from 8 exchanges in one table sorted cheapest-first, so you can find the lowest cost to borrow a given asset. Exchanges quote rates on different schedules (hourly, daily, yearly) and with different terms, so confirm the exact cost on the exchange before borrowing.
- Cheapest first — sorted by the lowest borrow APR.
- 8 exchanges — Bybit, Gate, HTX, Bitget, BingX, MEXC, OKX and Binance margin.
- Per-asset — compare the cost to borrow a specific coin or stablecoin.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use vfun-scan?
You can watch every table without one. A free account adds charts, filters and table sorting.
What is crypto price arbitrage?
Buying a coin on the exchange where it is cheapest and selling where it is most expensive at the same moment, capturing the price difference. The scanner finds those gaps across 30+ exchanges.
What is funding rate arbitrage?
A delta-neutral strategy: go long the perpetual where funding is lowest or negative and short the same coin where funding is highest, collecting the funding difference regardless of price direction.
What is the spot-perp basis or a cash-and-carry trade?
The basis is the gap between spot and perpetual price. In a cash-and-carry you buy spot and short the perp, staying market-neutral while the basis (and funding) converges.
How are funding rates annualised (APR)?
Funding is paid every 1–8 hours depending on the exchange. We convert each rate into an annual percentage so different schedules can be compared on one scale.
How many exchanges does vfun-scan cover?
30+ for prices and funding (Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate, KuCoin, MEXC, BingX, HTX, Hyperliquid and more), 14 for Earn and 8 for loans.
Is the data real-time?
Yes. Prices and rates update live, several times per second.
Can I trade or borrow through vfun-scan?
No. vfun-scan only shows and compares public market data; you trade, deposit or borrow on the exchange itself.
Are the Earn and loan rates guaranteed?
No. They are advertised rates that can change, and some apply only to limited amounts or terms. Always confirm the current terms on the exchange.
